Hello, my name is Ricardo

Yes, it's true I'm the roaster. The cat's outta the bag, although it is a funny spot to keep your cat.  You may think this seems a bit funny but we all have an avatar these days don't we? My current position, once you know the story, will all make sense.  My father was from Africa & my mother South America so coffee naturally flows through my veins. I have spent my life travelling the farthest corners of the world, sitting in cafe's meeting small roasters, hearing their stories, tasting their profiles, the different styles & ways to enjoy a cup of coffee. There's more to share.... best over a cup ;)

The Pink Weasel Coffee Company, an interesting international tale told whilst slowly sipping a carefully crafted coffee. 

It began a long time ago, in a far off land. A kit, named Ricardo, whose heritage is a cross between continents. A father of African decent & a mother from South America, it is of no surprise that young Ricardo has found his way down a path of the preferred morning beverage of many….coffee. 

After years of travelling around the globe, being educated on different cultural ways to enjoy coffee, each continent offered something a little different. Entering into the hospitality industry over 2 decades ago, Ricardo has experienced all types of establishments & parts of the industry. This culmination has lead him to a land where Summer is enjoyed all year round.

Arriving by boat, he was greeted by two friends who have sponsored his idea to create sippable stories from around the world. Having learned that each bean & origin is a bit different, that the weather year to year can affect the flavour it would only make logical sense that no two beans could be roasted the same if you were trying to maximize the flavour profile of that bean. Would it be more work?? Of course, but it's YOUR cup of coffee that we're talking about.  Find your favourite blend, there’s more to come…
